The supervisory board of state-run Polish coking coal producer
JSW has dismissed Chief Executive Tomasz Gawlik, the company said
on Monday.

The supervisory board, which did not provide a reason for the
dismissal, has appointed Daniel Ozon as acting CEO, the company
said.

Gawlik was appointed in December 2015 as part of a shake-up of
state-run businesses after a parliamentary election won by the
conservative Law and Justice party (PiS).

The dismissal in September of PiS treasury minister Dawid
Jackiewicz, who had been criticized by some PiS politicians for
appointing colleagues as executives and managers in state
companies, triggered another wave of personnel changes.
